Crespi neighbors and parents – thank you for attending the Crespi Campus Modernization Neighborhood Open House and Campus Tour on December 6th! We had a great turnout, and were excited to share our vision for the future of our campus with our neighbors and show them around our existing facilities.
We are thankful for the feedback the community has provided us, but in case you missed it, here’s a recap of what we heard:
- Landscaping improvements and public use of facilities are two features neighbors expressed particular interest in at the event.
- Our student volunteers for the night – Chris, Nicolas, and Joe – were particularly excited about the upcoming STEM classrooms and the revamping of our athletics facilities; both important projects that we look forward to providing for our future Crespi men.
- A majority of you were pleased with our previous construction etiquette, and we hope to maintain those standards as this project takes root. As far as our discussions during the open house, we will be reaching out to you individually to address concerns put forth during the meeting and answer any lingering questions.
If you need a refresher on the plan in general, check out our project website at www.crespimasterplan.org. Also, let us know in the comments: what more would you like to learn about our proposed plans? We’re in this together so it’s important for us to know what information would be most helpful to you.
As always, we welcome your suggestions and will be taking into consideration any incoming comments. When the City’s official approval process begins, we’ll be sure to let you know here, should you wish to send them comments directly. Please subscribe to our monthly email updates and show your support at www.crespimasterplan.org/support. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter for real time updates about the project. For any questions, please call (818) 275-5358 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, I wish you and yours a happy holiday season and look forward to working with you in the New Year.
